The String Bikini: Too Revealing

April 22, 2008

As far as aesthetic values are concerned, string bikini is something not to be worn as it is too revealing and with each passing day, string bikini is becoming more revealing. The string bikini is not a suit that can be worn by many people in America or worldwide for that matter, but that does not deter from it becoming more popular and more revealing with each passing year.

This type of bikini was first introduced in America in 1974. These types of bikinis are very popular among beachgoers. This suit continues to sell and be worn on beaches worldwide, often times by women that have no business wearing such a small and revealing garment.

The string bikini is a swimsuit that is comprised of two small triangular shaped pieces of material that are sewn together by a piece of string. The string can be one continuous piece or it can be two pieces that tie together on each side of the hip.

Let us now discuss the history of bikini. The history of the string bikini credits a Brazilian model, Rose de Primo for the actual creation of the suit, claiming that she was hired to model a bikini for a fashion shoot but did not own her own suit. In an effort to win the job, and with no money for which to spend on the purchase of a suit, she set about making her own at home.

When she discovered that she did not have enough material to sew the bottoms, she fashioned to small triangles of fabric and connected them together with string, thus the creation of the string bikini is based upon that very design still to this day. When she appeared at the fashion shoot in her homemade string bikini, the fashion became instantly popular and has grown into a full-blown swimsuit industry.

Today, string bikinis are a very popular version of the bikini, sold worldwide in the swimsuit industry. The styles have changed through the years, with the fabric triangles becoming smaller and more revealing than the original model.

As the world becomes more permissive, the string bikini becomes less an article of clothing and more of an accessory to acceptable nudity. Today, many retail outlets sell see-through string bikinis that are merely clear fabric covering the breast and groin regions without covering much of anything at all.

The string bikini market is full of variations of the small suit that has minimal coverage but wonderful advertisement of the body shape. These suits are developed for the female body that is extremely physically fit or surgically enhanced; as such suits would not complement the normal woman’s body.

You may think that how did this name bikini arrived? And where did it arrive? Well, the history dates back to many years back. Jacques Heim, in 1946 introduced it. It was introduced in Paris at a fashion show on July 25, 1946. Named after the nuclear weapon test site, Bikini Atoll, where nuclear tests had been done in the days preceding it’s introduction.

Thus the designer thought that the reaction that they will get from the people was some where near to the test site Bikini Atoll. Thus he thought to name this piece of wear as a Bikini. This is because he thought that on introduction of bikini there would be a lot of explosions and reactions. The fashion industry was stunned. But the shock was great and this brought about a revolution in the world of fashion.

Summary:

Sooner, it started becoming a fashion product. It was widely accepted in all the strata of society. Bikini became popular because it was not just a fashion product but also a thing of utmost comfort. It provided a sense of freedom to females. Its best use could be while sunbath. The woman can also reveal their beauty that God has given her with string bikini.
